Jack's 9 Month Check-Up

Today we took Jack in to his Pediatrician for his 9 month check-up and the Dr. says that he looks great and that his abilities are well advanced for his age. Currently our little tank is weighing in at 24lbs 5oz and stretches out at 29 3/4 inches, thus putting him at a solid 90% for both height and weight! All his tests from today came back normal and VERY healthy....and since he was a very good boy when the nurse took his blood and urine sample (yeah a urine sample on a 9 month old is definitely an interesting sight to behold ha ha) naturally we bought him "pretty's" as a reward : )

Not too much else to report other than Jack is reeking havoc all over the house and running me ragged in the process lol. Oh and now he's "too cool" for mommy's help with bottles so we just have our snack while we watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse (he's toooo funny)!

My very first encounter with Cheerios this morning  and they're mmmmm yummy! Give me more mommy!

The Climber - May 21, 2010

Well not only does my son climb up furniture and walls but apparently he also climbs staircases. I watched him crawling over by the stairs and thought nothing of it until I looked over again and he was halfway UP the staircase!! That little guy was grunting and panting the entire way up, utterly focused and determined to reach the top lol! Ironically I wasn't the only one surprised by this new milestone, the three dogs looked on in fear as he continued to climb nearer to them "up" in their beds ha ha!

Just Getting Started

Okay guys I'm very new to this whole blogging thing but I really wanted a forum where we can share the exciting (and lots of times not-so exciting) things that are going on with us. Jack is growing and changing way too fast to keep up, and with family FAR across the country I figured what a great way to stay up-to-date and connected! I hope to stay on top of this project and will be posting lots of videos of his first crawl, haircut etc. very soon.
